Agents of Transformation

As I sat down to write this post, I was thinking about how 2021 is the year when I completely claim my innate ability, trainings/certifications, and presence with regards to Clearing Energy.

As soon as I opened up the Energetic Space for this, I was contacted by a Dept. Head and asked to Space Clear a huge office building where people continually fall ill.

I cleared the way to claim this part of my work in the world and immediately I received a great contract to do the work.

Doing Space and Personal Energetic Clearing work is so much more detailed than most people realize, and so incredibly effective in moving energy in physical bodies and physical structures.

There is so much that can be done to clear stuck or static or dark or mucky energy. I use pendulum and rod dowsing; the Shen Technique; the MORE method; Mudras; sound healing; and the Four Elements Ceremony.

My trainings and certifications are through Melody LeBaron of Transforming Space-Self-Loss, who interviews me in the video shared below, and Denise Linn, author and energy healer and whose certification course, Elemental Space Clearing, I am currently enrolled in. I’ve also done a great deal of research and learning on my own and worked with friends and teachers from Indigenous elders and martial arts experts, to wildly cerebral science nerds on the techniques and modalities for space clearing.

As soon as I began my Space and Personal Clearing Apprenticeship training, I was called to a house filled with trauma. I was, at first, excited to work at this home, but it soon became clear that this was a huge job for one person and not the best one for an apprentice. There was a lot of geopathic stress; the front door, considered the mouth of chi—of life force energy—was never used and kept closed at all times; and the house sat on a ley line created by Civil War activity. I could literally feel the wandering spirits of Civil War soldiers who hid in the attic until I left. The homeowner knew they were in the attic. I felt so awful leaving her without completing the amount of clearing that house really needed. I did continue to distance clear until the space felt free of the wandering dead.The second clearing, just after I had completed my training, was for a demonic possession. I was trained and felt good and confident about my abilities, and yet this clearing was more than I was able to process in one go due to the need to pick my child up from the babysitter at a specific time.

One of the next clearings was a Personal Clearing for demonic possession. Again, I had a sitter with a timeline and a job too large to complete in the time I had to do it. I did manage to clear the possession, however my timeline meant that the clearing didn’t ‘stick’, and so it jumped right back into the client.

Those clearings were both engagements that asked more, time-wise and energetically, of me than I was able to give in the moment. Truth be told, I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. The experiences, combined with lack of confidence in my ability, and it was clear that I was not ready to offer this work to clients in a way that would be helpful and sustainable. The few clearings I did do were oftentimes approached with a lot of fear and self-doubt.

Why would I lead off telling you about my failures?

I think that humility is a critical component for clearing work, and I want you to know that sometimes, even with comprehensive, extensive training, clearing huge energies can be a challenge. It’s definitely not something you want to try and do on your own and without support.

It’s been five years now, and while I’ve done several clearings in that time, I’ve not really put the info out there that I do this work. Finally, finally, I feel that the information is integrated into my body and mind and that I am able to hold the space for what is needed, for as long as is needed. Also, no more sitters! My youngest child is off of University and as self-sufficient as anyone I know.

In this interview, Melody offers me the biggest compliment that I may ever have received. ‘You were the only white person I knew who had this same kind of connection to the land, because the land you live on was your playmate when you were growing up,’ after a story about a Western Cherokee man who knew the land in Georgia when he visited, though he had never been there before.
