Reclaiming the Wild Soul

How does a woman who has been domesticated, mind and body, by her culture reclaim her Wild Soul?

How does she break loose from so many generations of women carrying the weight of danger, of fear for their lives, of kowtowing to those who so often break women in two for the simple fact of their being born Woman?

How does she reclaim her Inner Feminine, the soul of which is rooted in the Earth as deeply as any old yew?

We trace those roots to their source within ourselves.

We breathe down into our wombs (wombs that exist, whether they are organs within our bodies or etheric wombs) and allow the residue of generations of our Matriarchy to release with the outbreaths.

We allow ourselves to dance to music we love. Wildly. Freely. Passionately.

We touch our bodies in ways that bring us pleasure and we accept nothing less from our lovers.

We offer our hearts and our time and our wisdom to our sisters who are not able to support themselves in this, who are not well resourced enough to come into this self-healing work. We support them. Hold them right where they are. Love them in all of it. Love them through it.

We are gentle with ourselves.

We forgive ourselves for all of the things we have done that were perceived as wrong by others, and by us.

We hold ourselves gently, ferociously, and with tender, strong, rooted love.
